Welcome to San Isidro ISD!
San Isidro Independent School District proudly serves our rural farming community in northeastern Starr County, Texas. As part of TEA Region One, our district spans 275 square miles centered around San Isidro, TX, and is home to approximately 150 students across our Elementary, Junior High, and High School campuses. We are a close-knit district where students are known by name, supported like family, and encouraged to thrive every day.
Our work is shaped by a strong and purposeful vision: “San Isidro ISD builds on the tradition of pride and academic excellence, providing each student with the necessary skills to achieve their full potential. We advocate for everyone in our learning community. We innovate to create opportunities. We expect excellence.” This commitment is reflected in every classroom, program, and opportunity we offer.
From our NEW Pre-K 3 Program to early college and career readiness pathways, San Isidro ISD provides a high-quality, future-focused education in a safe and nurturing environment. Our small class sizes and dedicated educators allow for personalized support, while our 1:1 technology devices help ensure students are prepared for an ever-evolving world.
We offer dual credit, CTE, and college readiness programs designed to open doors for students pursuing higher education and workforce opportunities. Through GEAR UP and ACE, students benefit from extended learning and enrichment after school. Our district also proudly supports competitive athletics, active student leadership clubs, meaningful cultural celebrations, and strong community partnerships that enhance the overall student experience.
Welcome to Tiger Nation—where excellence rides with tradition, and every student is empowered to reach their full potential.
